On My Block

This is just a brief note to direct you to the updated left-hand sidebar, featuring a whole bunch of new links to interesting places elsewhere. Many of these I've found by people linking to me (thanks!); others I've happened upon while jumping from blog to blog. While I plan on eventually creating a separate links page where I can properly annotate each of these, here's a quick rundown of the somewhat ad-hoc category groupings:

• Nightlife - Rock clubs and event listings pages for the cities of New York and Boston. Every few days I go through these links and pick out any new shows I want to go see, which get featured in my "Upcoming Events" section.
• (Mostly) Music Blogs - People that write interesting things about music, for the most part, and on a fairly regular basis.
• More Music - Other essential music-related sites in various forms -- message boards, articles, web zines, etc.
• Other Blogs - People I have stumbled across in my travels whose writings are worth checking out, music-related or no.

And by all means tell me about any other sites you think I should investigate. Or post a link in the comments here.
