Since this is pretty much the last day I can post something marked as autumnal before the holiday onslaught, here is my better-late-than-never fall music mix.

While I’ve been listening to some of these tracks since August, new ones kept on flying into my earbuds up until as recently as a couple of days ago. But time to call it done! Without the mini-reviews this time, alas. But a few quick notes:

• Shout out to the local Seattle bands in this mix: Versing and Detective Agency, each of which I’ve enjoyed seeing live a couple of times this past year.
• Even though I posted my Australia/NZ music mix just last month, three great new tracks from Major Leagues (AUS), Contrast (AUS) and Males (NZ) came to my attention not long afterwards. And honorary mention to Brooklyn-based EZTV for their cover of Chris Knox (NZ) classic “Not Given Lightly.”
• In the category of “new projects from familiar faces”: Martin Courtney from Real Estate, ex-Golden Grrrls in Sacred Paws and a stellar solo track from Will Ivy of the (recently-discovered-by-me) Dream Boys.
• Peaness: surely there’s a double bill opportunity with Dick Diver?
